The Coffee Shop Jam

Held twice a year in the spring and fall, it’s an opportunity for my guitar students to perform in a relaxed, fun environment. It’s part recital, part open mic, and part Stones concert. Needless to say, it’s a blast.

In August 2009, my young student Wesley’s Jam performance of “Folsom Prison Blues” became an internet sensation. You can read about it on my blog here.
