Welcome, Beginner

OK, good to know you’re interested in my mailing list for beginners.

I LOVE teaching beginners, and I’ve spent my teaching career obsessing about it. If I can make guitar more fun and easy for you now, when you’re starting out, the impact will be huge.

How can I make it easy and fun? Over the course of teaching hundreds of beginners–young and old, psyched and reluctant–I’ve figured out all these tricks for making the process easier. Things like:

  • Speeding up chord changes using anchor and lead fingers
  • Finding the perfect spot to fret a note (you don’t have to press as hard!)
  • Putting your strumming on autopilot so that you can sing along

I’ll teach you all these things and more over the coming weeks.
