Hi Rob
nice selection of songs. I must defintely try your Creep version (til know I played it with simplified chords, just G-B-C-Cm progression)
For the future it would be great to see some Credence Clearwater revival since they got pehnominal but still not so demaning songs
Cheers and thanks again for your kind effort
Matteo
Nice 🙂 I’ll have to try Creep and Polly as a beginner.
Very cool! Love your site.
My wife and I are learning guitar right now as beginners and having fun.
Keep up the good work.
Do you have any Richard Thompson? He is an excellent guitar player. Also, how about “Way Over Yonder In The Minor Key” by Billy Bragg and Wilco? Thanks.
Nice song list. I was wondering if you could use a monospaced font for the strumming patterns, as it’s hard to line up with the counts & beats as text size is controlled by the browser and it changes. ie, ‘creep’ I can’t make out the strumming pattern. Thanks for all your work.
Hey Jay,
Shoot, I thought I had that figured out. So on your browser the strum pattern isn’t in Courier New font?
I’m going to have to study up on this more.
…and Marc,
Sorry, I don’t have any Richard Thompson or that Billy Bragg/Wilco song. All the songs on my site were requested by my students, and no one’s requested those yet (though I know and love the Mermaid Avenue album).
Good luck,
Rob

How do I sub to your newsletter? Will you be posting each and every newsletter in your blog… if so I need not subscribe. =)
Greetings from Korea!
This is really a great site. I’m giving it my new music teacher. I would love it if you could put up some traditional blues like Spoon full, and Crossroads
Really a good site for guitar learners.
